Accountability Of The 2021 State Budget Approved By All Fractions Of The DPR, Sri Mulyani Is Ready To Give The Government's View

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati attended the DPR Plenary Meeting with the agenda of the Factions' Views on the Draft Law (RUU) on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2021 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (P2APBN).

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance also directly received the views of the factions that had been read out by the representatives of each faction. This faction's view was given because previously the Minister of Finance as the government's representative had submitted the Government's Statement on the 2021 FY P2APBN Bill at the Plenary Meeting last week.

"As we know that the Government has submitted the Bill on the 2021 P2APBN at the last Plenary Meeting. In accordance with article 173 paragraph (2), therefore, for this purpose, the Secretariat General has submitted a list of the names of the spokespersons for each faction who will present the views of their factions in turn," said Meeting Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad in his opening remarks on Tuesday, 5 July.

Based on the government's information that has been submitted, nine factions namely the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, the Golkar Party faction, the Greater Indonesia Movement Party faction, the Nasdem Party faction, the National Awakening Party faction, and the Democratic Party faction.

Then, the Prosperous Justice Party faction, the National Mandate Party faction, and the United Development Party Faction stated that they accepted and gave approval for the P2APBN Bill to be discussed further in accordance with the laws and regulations.

Furthermore, the discussion of the bill will continue with the Government's response to the views of the factions that have been read out today.

"The government's response to the views of the factions regarding the bill on the 2021 FY P2APBN has been scheduled by the DPR Deliberative Body to be submitted in the plenary session of the council on Tuesday, August 23, 2022," concluded Sufmi.
