JAKARTA - After holding the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) on June 30, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) owned by conglomerate Susilo Wonowidjojo set a schedule for distributing dividends of Rp.4.33 trillion. The plan is that the dividend equivalent to Rp2,250 per share will be paid on July 28, 2022.

In a statement quoted on Monday, July 4, Corporate Secretary of Gudang Garam, Heru Budiman, said that the company had a net profit of IDR 5.6 trillion. This means that the amount of dividends paid is equivalent to 77.32 percent of net income.

In detail, the following is the schedule for the distribution of Gudang Garam dividends:

Just to emphasize, shareholders who are entitled to Gudang Garam dividends are those recorded on July 12, 2022 at 16:00 WIB.

For information, in 2021, Gudang Garam recorded revenues of Rp. 124.88 trillion, up 9.08 percent compared to 2020, which was Rp. 114.47 trillion.

Although the company's revenue increased, the company recorded an operating profit which eroded to Rp7.36 trillion from Rp10.04 trillion. As a result, profit attributable to owners of the parent entity will be IDR 5.6 trillion in 2021, down 23.83 percent from IDR 7.64 trillion in 2020.

Meanwhile, Gudang Garam's total assets recorded an increase to Rp. 89.96 trillion as of December 31, 2021 compared to Rp. 78.19 trillion in 2020. In detail, current assets rose to Rp. 59.31 trillion from Rp. 49.53 trillion with an increase in inventory to Rp. 47.45 trillion.
