Capital Increases By IDR 700 Billion In Two Years And Has 117 Office Networks, Bank Aceh Determines To Become A National Bank

The Board of Directors of Bank Aceh Syariah is determined to make the bank not only a regional bank but also a national bank. The statement was made by the President Director of Bank Aceh Syariah Haizir Sulaiman at the inauguration of the Aceh Syariah Pulau Banyak Sub-Branch Office by the Governor of Aceh, Nova Iriansyah, which took place online and offline.

"Alhamdulillah, with positive growth and supported by additional capital from the Aceh government, it is a strong asset for us to move forward," said Haizir as quoted by Antara, Monday, July 4.

He said that with the inauguration of the KCP of Bank Aceh Pulau Banyak, Aceh Singkil Regency, until now Bank Aceh Syariah has a network of 117 offices.

"KCP Bank Aceh Syariah Pulau Banyak is the only office network located on the outermost island and this is a manifestation and confirmation that this is the territory of Aceh Province," he said.

He added that in the last two years the bank received additional capital from the Aceh Government of Rp700 billion.

He also expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Nova Iriansyah who is quite concerned about the development of the regional government-owned bank. "Under the leadership of the Governor of Aceh, Nova Iriansyah, he has also succeeded in opening a branch office in the nation's capital, Jakarta," he said.

The Governor of Aceh, Nova Iriansyah hopes that Bank Aceh can be on par with national banks and can become a player at the global level. "I hope that the board of directors and the entire extended family of Bank Aceh Syariah can continue to innovate in raising this regional-owned bank," said Nova, who will end his duties as Aceh Governor on July 4, 2022.
