JAKARTA - The automotive company belonging to conglomerate TP Rachmat, PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC) remains optimistic that it can record performance growth of up to two times reaching 182 percent or Rp 500 billion in 2022. In line with this, the company continues to intensify expansion by adding network especially for O2O used car dealer Caroline.

This year, Autopedia targets to be able to open up to 20 customer touch points for Caroline, where as of the first quarter of 2022, 8 points have been successfully built in several regions in Indonesia.

"Seeing the potential for the used car market which is still large and the projection of better national economic growth, we are optimistic that in 2022 Autopedia can record a better performance. To be able to achieve this target, we will add Caroline branches, increase sales through various digital channels, and increase auction participants, especially from used car dealers," said President Director of Autopedia Jany Candra in a statement, Wednesday, June 22.

Jany continued, this year the company will focus on developing expansion based on a light asset strategy. The company will focus on adding branches in several big cities in Indonesia, especially those that can synergize with the ASSA Group's location points.

In addition, the Company will also improve the digital marketing experience through various channels, build a customer-centric call center, and explore partnerships with new and used car dealers, in order to provide the best and most trusted used vehicle buying and selling services in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, apart from continuing to add to its network for Caroline, Autopedia will also build a flagship store in Gading Serpong which is targeted to be completed in Quarter IV-2022 or Quarter I-2023. In addition, Caroline also provides attractive promos ranging from discounts worth tens of millions of rupiah, to booking fee promos through the official store at Tokopedia.

In line with the expansion plan to be carried out, the Company estimates that it can absorb funds from the IPO for working capital ranging from Rp100–Rp150 billion in 2022.

On the other hand, until the first quarter of 2022, ASLC's revenue grew by 47.9 percent or reached Rp. 69.6 billion. Meanwhile, from the realization of sales, ASLC has sold more than 19 thousand units of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles through the JBA auction hall, and as many as 217 cars through Caroline.

"It is hoped that with the expansion steps that are being carried out by the company, we can achieve the targets that have been set previously. Where for 2022, we are targeting to be able to sell around 90,000 – 100,000 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles through JBA auctions, and 2,000 cars through Caroline," Jany concluded.
