JAKARTA - Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) admitted that he was asked by Jokowi to solve the unfinished cooking oil problem.

According to Zulhas, it was his background experience that made him chosen by Jokowi as a minister.

"The assignment is (cooking oil). Please Mr. Zul with your background who likes to be down, understand micro, retail and details about food, cooking oil and others," said Jokowi as quoted by Zulkifli at the Ministry of Trade, Jakarta, Wednesday, 15 June.

The former chairman of the MPR said that he would maximize himself to overcome various problems in the remaining term of office.
