Bali United Management Company, Ensures Its Business Entities Participate In Vidio.com Capital Injection, Value Of 2 Million US Dollars

JAKARTA - Bali United club management company PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk (BOLA) has confirmed that one of its business entities is involved in a capital injection in PT Vidio Dot Com. The business entity belonging to the conglomerate Pieter Tanuri in question is PT Ekonomi Baru Investasi (EBIT).

Quoting the Director of Bali Sejahtera Yohanes Ade Bunian Moniaga, EBIT invested in Vidio.com with a value of 2 million US dollars. Using the exchange rate of IDR 14,748 per US dollar, the EBIT investment value in Vidio.co is equivalent to IDR 29.49 billion.

"This transaction has a positive impact on the sustainability of the company's business activities through business diversification, as well as increasing the business of subsidiaries to support the company's business activities", said Yohanes, Wednesday, June 15.

As is known, the media company owned by conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja, PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) is slowly starting to reduce its share ownership in Vidio.com.

This is related to the equity participation of some of Vidio's shareholders.

Corporate Secretary Surya Citra Gilang Iskandar said, on June 14, Vidio received capital participation from PT DSST Video Gemilang (an entity of PT Dian Swastatica Tbk Group Sinarmas), PT Ekonomi Baru Investasi Teknologi (a subsidiary of PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk owned by Pieter Tanuri), Grab LA Pte Ltd, and other equity holders. The value is 45 million dollars or equivalent to IDR 662.8 billion (exchange rate of IDR 14,729 per US dollar).

"With this capital investment/investment, the company's share ownership in Vidio has changed from 83.33 percent to 79.37 percent", Gilang said as quoted on Wednesday, June 15.
