JAKARTA - The Nusa Dua tourism area, Badung Regency, Bali is ready to host a world automotive event titled Vespa World Day 2022 (VWD 2022) on June 9-12.
The plan is that the activity will be held on the Peninsula Island, which is being developed and managed by the state-owned PT Pembangunan Wisata Indonesia (Persero)/Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) with 8,500 Vespa lovers from 27 countries participating.
Managing Director of The Nusa Dua, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, said that the 2022 VWD which was held at The Nusa Dua was recorded as the first Vespa World Day event to be held outside the European continent.

He added, in support of Peninsula Island as the main meeting location, several parking areas at The Nusa Dua will be managed as entry and exit points as well as a mobilization center for VWD participants, in addition to being a venue for Vespa motorbike contests and attractions.
Meanwhile, other locations in the area such as Art Bali-ABBC Building Bali Collection in The Nusa Dua area will be used as a Vespa Museum which will display a collection of very rare Vespas that have Indonesian history.
Ngurah Ardita revealed, related to accommodation, as many as 12 star hotels at The Nusa Dua have collaborated with VWD organizers as official hotel partners.
