JAKARTA - The progress of the construction of a connecting flyover (skybridge) between Bojonggede Station and Bojonggede Type C Terminal in Bogor, West Java, until the end of May 2022 has reached around seven percent.

Director of Infrastructure for the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) Jumardi hopes that by October this year the work will be completed in its entirety.

"With the cooperation that has been going well so far, both with the Bogor Regency Government and also with the support of the local community, I hope that all work processes can run smoothly," he said in an official statement, Friday, June 3.

For your information, the Bojonggede Skybridge itself is fully financed by the APBN worth Rp. 16.5 billion through the 2022 BPTJ budget.

Meanwhile, the Bogor Regency Government allocated a budget of around Rp. 4 billion for land acquisition needs.

The existence of the flyover is expected to be able to reduce the chaotic traffic conditions around Bojonggede Station.

The flyover will span 243 meters long and 3 meters wide connecting Bojonggede Station and Bojongede Type C Transport Terminal.

At each end, both the station and terminal side will be equipped with a hall-like area.

On the station side, the hall will be equipped with escalator facilities, ramps for people with disabilities, toilets, prayer rooms, tapping gates and counter rooms.

Meanwhile, the hall on the terminal side will be equipped with ramps for people with disabilities, toilets and prayer rooms.
