JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs noted that the distribution of people's business loans (KUR) had reached Rp. 147.65 trillion as of June 2.

This amount is equivalent to 39.57 percent of the target of IDR 373 trillion this year.

Deputy for Micro Enterprises at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Eddy Satriya, said the achievement of KUR distribution was a positive trend in achieving the targets set by the government.

He said, all Kemenkop UKM personnel also continue to provide assistance to accelerate the absorption of KUR.

"Until June 3, 2022, the realization of the distribution of KUR in 2022 based on data from the Program Credit Information System (SIKP) of Rp. 147.65 trillion or 39.57 percent was given to 3,177,993 million debtors," he said at a virtual press conference, Friday 3 June.

Eddy wants this KUR distribution to be expanded to businesses in the category that want to get loans without collateral.

This rule applies to business actors who borrow up to Rp. 100 million.

"This is a lot of interest subsidies that we continue, which was initially extended until the first semester (2022) but has also been approved until the end of the year (2022)," he explained.

He added that his party was also paying attention to the distribution of KUR, especially Cluster KUR.

He has also established a number of coordinations with channeling banks and related agencies to strengthen the distribution of KUR Clusters for micro-enterprises.

Likewise, a meeting was held between the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, BRI and Uniqlo to access Uniqlo-assisted KUR Cluster financing and coordinate with the fisheries and e-Fishery sectors as offtakers/avalists.

Meanwhile, Assistant Deputy for Micro Business Financing, Deputy for Micro Business at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Irene Swa Suryani, said that KUR absorption is currently still concentrated in Java.

Although the target of KUR distribution is not limited to certain areas.

"If you look at the income, because KUR is for all parts of Indonesia in 34 provinces, if you look at absorption it is still concentrated on the island of Java because many business actors are in Java," he said.

In distributing KUR, said Irene, there were 43 distributors who distributed it. It consists of the Association of State Banks (Himbara), Private Banks, Regional Development Banks, three cooperatives, and one leasing.

"All regions can access KUR," he said.

The credit distribution itself consists of several categories, namely Ultra Micro KUR for submissions of Rp. 10 million. Then, Micro KUR is in the range of Rp. 10 to Rp. 100 million.

"In this category, the collateral is business collateral, so there is no need for additional collateral. The additional (needed) loan is Rp. 100 to Rp. 500 million depending on the assessment of the KUR distributor," he said.
