The Company Owned By Conglomerate Anthony Salim, Which Is Indomaret's Parent, Earns IDR 296.4 Billion In Profit In The First Quarter Of 2022

JAKARTA - Indomaret's parent company, PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET) recorded performance growth in the first quarter of 2022. Revenue and net profit of the company owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim increased during the first three months of this year.

In DNET's financial report, quoted on Thursday, June 2, the company recorded revenue from contracts with customers of IDR 224.8 billion in the first quarter of 2022. This revenue increased 66 percent compared to the same period last year of IDR 135.4 billion.

Meanwhile, the share of profits from the company's associates also increased significantly from IDR 26.9 billion in the first quarter of 2021 to IDR 227.4 billion in the first quarter of 2022.

The profit share from this associate was obtained from Indomaret manager PT Indomarco Prismatama worth Rp212.6 billion, Sari Roti producer PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk. (ROTI) of Rp. 22.7 billion, and the loss from the KFC franchise network of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST) of Rp. 7.6 billion.

With this revenue performance, the issuer codenamed DNET was able to record an increase in operating profit of 333.7 percent to IDR 318.5 billion, from IDR 73.4 billion on an annual basis or year on year (yoy).

DNET also recorded an increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 296.4 billion, an increase of 387.5 percent from IDR 60.8 billion on an annual basis or yoy.

Until the end of March 2022, the company's total assets recorded an increase to Rp. 18.3 trillion, from Rp. 18 billion at the end of December 2021. The total liabilities of the company were recorded to have decreased from Rp. 6.82 trillion on December 31, 2021, to Rp. 6.7 trillion at March 31, 2022.

Meanwhile, the company's total equity increased to IDR 11.6 trillion in the first quarter of 2022, from IDR 11.2 trillion at the end of 2021.
