First Quarter 2022, PNM Distributes Rp19 Trillion For Ultra Micro Businesses

JAKARTA - PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) managed to record a positive performance in the first quarter of 2022.

This can be seen from the disbursement of financing for the ultra micro segment of Rp19.2 trillion.

PNM President Director Arief Mulyadi explained that this achievement was the result of distribution to 11.7 million active customers.

"The total active customers until the first quarter of 2022 reached 11.7 million customers, with this achievement an outstanding of Rp 30 trillion," he said in a written statement, Monday, April 9.

Furthermore, Arief said that his party is optimistic that the distribution of financing for the ultra-micro segment will still increase.

Last year, Arief continued, PNM noted that the distribution of special financing for the ultra-micro segment reached more than Rp. 105 trillion through the PNM Mekaar program.

To encourage the development of the ultra-micro segment, said Arief, the government together with other stakeholders need to provide the right stimulus for this segment.

"The increase in activity in the ultra-micro business segment is believed to have an impact on increasing purchasing power and encouraging economic growth, both regionally and nationally," he explained.
