The Hartono Brothers' Tower Company From Djarum Group Owned By The Hartono Brothers Wants AGMS In 3 Weeks, Will It Divide Trillion Dividends?

JAKARTA - The tower company of the Djarum Group owned by the Hartono Brothers conglomerates, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) plans to hold an annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) on Friday, 27 May 2022. The AGMS will be held at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta.

In the information disclosure of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Saturday 7 May, TOWR management said that there are several agendas that will be discussed at the AGMS.

First, is the approval and ratification of the company's annual report and ratification of the company's consolidated financial statements for the 2021 financial year, as well as the granting of full settlement and release of responsibility to the board of commissioners and directors of the company for supervisory and management actions ending on December 31, 2021.

Second, the determination of the use of the company's net profit for the 2021 financial year, the determination of salaries and allowances for members of the board of directors and salaries or honoraria and allowances for the company's board of commissioners for the financial year 2022 and bonuses for members of the board of directors and commissioners for the financial year 2021.

The GMS will also discuss the appointment of a public accounting firm (KAP), as well as granting power and authority to the board of directors to pay interim/temporary dividends for the financial year ending December 31, 2022.

With the agenda of determining the use of net profit, investors will look forward to the distribution of dividends from TOWR. Last year, the company distributed cash dividends of Rp1.4 trillion or equivalent to Rp22,093 per share from its 2020 net profit.

Meanwhile, throughout 2021, TOWR posted revenue of Rp. 8.63 trillion in 2021. This revenue increased by 15.98 percent from Rp. 7.44 trillion from 2020.

TOWR was also able to score an increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp3.42 trillion throughout 2021. This net profit achievement rose 20.85 percent from Rp2.83 trillion in 2020.
