JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan presents innovation through the first self-service gas station service in East Kalimantan that carries the cashless payment concept.

Area Manager Communication & CSR Kalimantan Region, Susanto August Satria said the first self-service gas station was present on the KM 36A Balsam (Balikpapan-Samarinda) toll road and started operating on Wednesday 20 April.

"The gas stations on the Balsam Toll Road are fully self-service, this is one of Pertamina's efforts to welcome the concept of digitization and transparency for the community," said Satria.

Satria also revealed the increasing use of e-payments, encouraging Pertamina to use the cashless payment concept. This is expected to make it easier for people to not have to transact with cash.

"Self-service gas stations are equipped with cashless services, along with the incessant cashless environment that has dominated cash transactions, of course we try to provide services according to the needs of the community," he said.

For information, the Balsam KM 36A toll road self-service gas station serves the purchase of Dexlite, Pertadex, Pertamax, and Pertamax Turbo fuel products.

On the other hand, in order to support the convenience of the community when going home for Eid holidays, Pertamina also presents a Modular Gas Station on the Balsam toll road, lane KM 36B. Modular gas stations are Pertamina's official distribution agencies whose facilities and facilities can be moved according to the needs in the field.

Satria stated that the Modular SPBU has officially operated since last Friday, April 29 and is ready to serve the fuel needs of the community, especially those who travel back and forth for Eid through the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road.

"There is Pertamax and Pertalite for gasoline type products, as well as Dexlite for gasoil type products, available to the public at the Balsam 36B Modular Toll Gas Station," said Satria.

It is hoped that the addition of Pertamina's gas station facilities during the Lebaran homecoming period will make people more comfortable driving because fuel can be obtained more closely and easily.
