JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower has responded to 1,620 reports regarding the payment of holiday allowances (THR) from 2,402 online consultations included in the 2022 THR Command Post, ahead of Eid.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi explained that until April 29, 2022, the virtual THR Command Post had received 5,148 reports related to THR, consisting of 2,746 online complaints and 2,402 online consultations.

Anwar Sanusi said from the THR consultation reports from all provinces in Indonesia which amounted to 2,402, his party had responded or completed 1,620 reports. The remaining 782 reports are still in the process of being completed.

"The consultation report is still in process, we will definitely complete it 100 percent," he said as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 30.

Meanwhile, 2,746 complaints submitted to the 2022 THR Command Post came from 1,549 reported companies.

The issues that were complained of were 1,277 THR reports that were not paid from 728 companies, 1,140 THR did not comply with the provisions of 635 companies and 338 THR late payments came from 186 companies.

"Of this number, 41 reports have been followed up and 1,508 are in process. A total of 33 reports have been included in the report on the results of the performance inspection and eight reports have been included in the Audit Note I," said Anwar.

Of the total 2,402 consultations received by the Ministry of Manpower, DKI Jakarta is the province with the highest or most reported THR consultations, with 582 reports. Followed by West Java with 486 reports, East Java with 240 reports and Central Java with 173 reports.

Meanwhile, North Kalimantan is listed as the province with the least number of THR consultation reports, only one report.

In the number of THR 2022 complaints, DKI Jakarta also received 876 reports, followed by West Java with 577 reports, Banten with 302 reports and East Java with 262 reports.

Of the 876 reports, DKI Jakarta is the province with the most complaints about THR not being paid 387 reports, THR not in accordance with the provisions of 357 reports and THR being late in paying 132 reports.

The province with the least THR complaints is Papua, with one report regarding the subject of the THR complaint not being paid.

Anwar reminded that according to Article 79 of Government Regulation (PP) Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages, there are sanctions in stages given to entrepreneurs who do not pay THR or pay THR, but do not comply with the provisions.

"Starting from written warnings, restrictions on business activities, temporary suspension of part or all of production equipment, to freezing of business activities," said Anwar Sanusi.
