Lion Air Jakarta – Banda Aceh Ticket Commotion Rp9.6 Million, Management: Reasonable Because Of The Transit In Kualanamu

JAKARTA - Lion Air Group together with member airlines (affiliates) provide an official statement regarding the development of information on one-way air ticket fares worth Rp. 9.6 million for the Jakarta route through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) for Banda Aceh. via Sultan Iskandar Muda Aceh Besar International Airport (BTJ).

Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air Group Danang Mandala Prihantoro said that the tariff implementation was still in accordance with the applicable regulatory corridor.

"That happened because all the seats on the flight in question were sold out for non-stop flights or non-stop flights. So, the system provides an alternative for prospective passengers to be able to go to Banda Aceh by transit and transfer (stop and change planes) using other airlines through Kualanamu International Airport," he said in an official statement quoted on Saturday, April 30.

Danang explained that the plan to replace the plane is from Jakarta - Kualanamu with Batik Air airline (transit) Kualanamu - Banda Aceh followed by a connecting flight (connecting flight) with Wings Air (transfer).

He also reminded that transit and transfer flights could be with services from their own airline or with other airlines.

"It is also important to know that if the economy class ticket prices are sold out and business class is still available, there will be a combination of business class prices with other airlines' economy class prices," he said.

"Therefore, we urge all prospective passengers to prepare travel plans early, wisely, carefully, and better understand in understanding information when purchasing airline tickets," he concluded.
