Collaborating With BPN And KPK, PLN Successfully Certified 71 Thousand Land Assets

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) in collaboration with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) succeeded in securing state assets in the form of land. Until the end of 2021, the number of certified land assets of PLN has reached 71,000 parcels or 67 percent of the total 106,000 PLN land assets.

Specifically in 2021, PLN has received as many as 22,237 new certificates and 851 renewal certificates from BPN throughout Indonesia. The land assets are used by PLN to support electricity infrastructure for the benefit of the community.

PLN's Java, Madura and Bali Regional Business Director, Haryanto WS at the Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting on the Progress of PLN's Land Assets Certification in Banten Province, appreciated and was grateful for the synergy with the KPK and BPN in completing the arrangement of land assets.

"All of these achievements are a tangible result of the synergy and collaboration between PLN and BPN agencies with supervision from the KPK," said Haryanto.

The PLN land asset certification completion program is still continuing according to the direction of the PLN President Director, namely that PLN's land assets are targeted to be fully certified by 2023.

In 2022, PLN has a target to certify 15 thousand parcels of land assets. Specifically in Banten, PLN has received 251 land certificates in 2021.

This year, PLN targets to be able to certify a total of 397 land parcels in Banten. To date, PLN has received a total of 11 land certificates from BPN.

Head of the Banten Province BPN Regional Office, Rudi Rubijaya, is ready to support PLN in accelerating land certification. With the certification of PLN's land assets, it can help BPN to systematically certify all plots of land in the Banten area.

"BPN is ready to carry out PLN land certification beyond the predetermined target if all the data is complete," said Rudi.

Director of Coordination and Supervision of Region II KPK RI, Yudhiawan Wibisono, said that the KPK has never stopped encouraging government agencies, ministries and institutions through its main tasks, including infrastructure development, including assets related issues. At the Corruption Eradication Commission, there is a regional asset management program and the Corruption Eradication Commission encourages the certification of assets to be implemented immediately because they are state assets. This is done so as not to lose or change hands.

"We appreciate and appreciate the steps from PLN, which so far have shown rapid progress even in the midst of a pandemic situation. If we look at the top of all SOEs in Indonesia in terms of asset rescue," Yudhiawan continued.
