Kota Deltamas Cikarang Developer Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja Raup Pre-Sales Of IDR 615 Billion In First Quarter 2022

JAKARTA - The developer of the Kota Deltamas Cikarang area, PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS), achieved an increase in pre-sales or marketing sales in the first quarter of 2022. The company from the Sinarmas Group earned Rp615 billion in pre-sales in the first three months of this year.

In the DMAS information disclosure, on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Tuesday, April 19, the company's pre-sales are around 34.2 percent of the 2022 marketing sales target of IDR 1.8 trillion. PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk's marketing sales achievement in early 2022 mainly came from the sale of industrial land.

"In the first quarter of 2022, the company sold 16.8 hectares of industrial land. In addition, there were also sales of the commercial and residential segments," said Director of PT Puradelta Lestari, Tondy Suwanto.

Furthermore, Tondy said, several buying and selling negotiation processes have been going on since 2021, but have encountered obstacles due to mobility restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic.

"At the beginning of 2022, we have succeeded in completing several transactions that were delayed due to the pandemic in the previous year. We are trying to complete several negotiation processes and other transactions in the rest of this year which will certainly increase the company's marketing sales achievements," said Tondy.

In addition, the achievement of marketing sales in the first quarter of 2022 was Rp. 615 billion, which was higher than the achievement of marketing sales in the first quarter of 2021, which was Rp. 228 billion.

This good achievement in the first quarter of 2022 was supported by the increase in average sales prices and increasing demand, especially from the data center sector. Anticipating the high demand for industrial land from the data center, the company itself has developed a special industrial zone dedicated to the data center and similar industries and equipped with high-tech infrastructure.

"We have built all the best facilities and infrastructure to support the activities of the data center in this special industrial zone. This is certainly a distinct advantage for us, where many data center customers have joined our industrial area. In the future, the GIIC industrial area Kota Deltamas will become a data center center in Indonesia," said Tondy.
