Energy Audit Cooperation, Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Appoints DKI Provincial Government As Benchmark For Energy Efficiency Implementation

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Center for Human Resources Development for Electricity, New Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (PPSDM) KEBTKE Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of energy audit. energy which aims to implement energy efficiency optimally within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

The signing of the MoU was carried out by the Head of PPSDM KEBTKE Laode Sulaeman and the Head of Dikertrans and Energy Andri Yansah and attended by officials from each party.

Laode said that DKI Jakarta has often been a pilot city for the use of national energy with an energy use of around 3000 kWh per capita.

"Jakarta's energy access is also above the average for other provinces in Indonesia, but along with this achievement, we still have a common task that we carry out, namely how to use safety and how to manage energy to be efficient not only in terms of distribution but also spatial planning," he said. in a written statement, Thursday 14 April.

Laode hopes that through this MoU the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will become a benchmark for the application of energy efficiency through the initial process, namely an energy audit.

"In this initial step, we will conduct an energy audit process for the initial 10 buildings in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, we hope we can carry it out as well as possible," said Laode.

Meanwhile, Andri said that energy audit activities are part of implementing regulations.

"In accordance with the mandate of the DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation Number 156 of 2012 concerning Energy and Water Savings, where this audit activity has been contained in the Department's budget and is a mandatory activity within the DKI Provincial Government," he said.

He hopes that the DKI Provincial Government can provide an example to other parties that the buildings in the DKI Provincial Government have really been audited and can serve as examples for other buildings.
