JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) again held a discount promo for adding electricity to houses of worship through the Ramadhan Blessing program. As of April 9, 2022, there are 3,834 houses of worship that have taken advantage of this promo.

PLN's Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and CSR, Agung Murdifi said, the Ramadhan Berkah program targets social tariff customers for houses of worship with a choice of increasing power from 2,200 to 11,000 Volt Ampere (VA). This promo is valid from March 29 to May 31, 2022.

"Welcoming Ramadan, PLN again provides convenience to customers by providing relief from the cost of adding power. This time the promo is given to houses of worship," Agung said in a statement received by VOI, Tuesday, April 12.

Agung said that through the Ramadhan Berkah program, customers could save on additional power costs. He gave an example when under normal conditions to increase the power from 1,300 VA to 2,200 VA, it costs Rp. 1,153,500, and if the customer wants to increase the power from 1,300 VA to 11,000 VA, it costs Rp. 9.3 million, while during the promo the cost of adding power is only Rp. 150 thousand. .

"So it can be ascertained how much savings customers will get if they participate in this Ramadhan Blessing promo," he said.

Agung added that by holding a discount on additional power for houses of worship, it is hoped that it can increase people's comfort when undergoing worship.

"PLN provides a stimulus to add power to houses of worship of all religions, so they can use electricity more comfortably and freely," added Agung.

Customers who want to enjoy the power-added promo do not need to come to the office, just submit it through the PLN Mobile application that has been installed on a smartphone by entering the PLNBERKAH voucher code.
