In fact, according to Bebin, sales of new cars this year will reach 1 million units. This reflects on the situation before the COVID-19 pandemic where this industry experienced very rapid growth.

"This will maintain the momentum for the revival of the automotive industry and it was said that it had sold up to 84 thousand units at the end of February. I observe that sales will be above 900 thousand and even close to 1 million units," he said.

Therefore, according to Bebin, the tax relaxation in the form of PPnBM incentives is extended or not, it will have absolutely no effect on the automotive industry, which is currently reviving.

"If it is revoked (not extended) I have no doubt that the automotive will be (affected), it will continue to run with the current rhythm. So there is no need to worry. Again, this industrial phenomenon has happened again for the umpteenth time," he said.

Moreover, said Bebin, the holding of the 2022 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) will encourage this industry to be more active. Moreover, coupled with the attraction of new models and new brands of cars are emerging.
