JAMBI - Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said that according to the regulations, coal trucks are not allowed to fill up with subsidized diesel at all public gas stations (SPBU). Pertamina will immediately review and develop a new scheme in this regard.

"Because the coal-carrying truck is a large industry that does not receive subsidized diesel from the government or uses subsidized fuel," said Nicke Widyawati during a working visit in Jambi, reported by Antara, Saturday, April 2.

Pertamina will reconsider the existing policies and will establish a new business scheme. With the regulation, it is hoped that conditions will become more orderly, especially the problem of coal trucks in Jambi which is growing rapidly.

Pertamina president director Nicke Widyawati came to Jambi to ensure the supply of fuel in Jambi could run well.

"We also have to anticipate the need for fuel and LPG in Jambi, during Ramadan and ahead of Eid. Therefore, I together with the Governor, the Regional Police Chief, the Chair of the Jambi Provincial DPRD and the Mayor made a visit to two gas stations and we saw firsthand the situation and the supply," said Nick.

The President Director of Pertamina also thanked the Mayor of Jambi, Syarif Fasha, who made arrangements for refueling fuel in the city of Jambi. Currently, there are five gas stations that are specially regulated to serve coal transporting trucks, so there will be no longer queues at gas stations. The designated gas station will be open and operating 24 hours a day.

Then Pertamina also increased the number of dispensers with nozzles at the gas station to reduce the queue of trucks for filling diesel fuel.

For Jambi, Pertamina also provides mobile gas stations which will cooperate with the local Ditlantas to determine the point of operation location, so as to reduce queues at gas stations.

"Pertamina has also prepared 15 units of mobile gas station vehicles, of which five units have been mobilized to the location and will soon be coordinated to determine the location of this mobile gas station operation. The 15 cars have a capacity of 5,000 liters and 16,000 liters," said Nicke.
