JAKARTA - The Trade Office of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province, has prepared 114,530 liters of packaged and bulk cooking oil at distributor prices in a low-cost market or people's market which is held to welcome the month of Ramadan.

Mataram City Trade Service Head Uun Pujianto in Mataram, Tuesday, said the stock of 114,530 liters of cooking oil came from four distributors in Mataram City, and was sold below the market price or distributor price.

"The price starts from Rp. 14,000 per liter for bulk oil to Rp. 24,500 per liter for premium packaged oil," he said, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, March 29.

He explained that the four distributors who prepared cooking oil at the people's market included Lotte Mart, Bimoli packaged cooking oil and Fortune stock 2,400 liters at a price of Rp. 24,000 per liter.

Then Transmart packaged cooking oil saves stock of 1,130 liters at a price of Rp. 23,950 per liter, then CV Daya Abadi packaged cooking oil of Kunci Mas in stock of 42,000 liters or 3,500 boxes at a price of Rp. 23,500 per liter.

In addition, Disdag also involved distributor CV Pass Putra, who prepared 60,000 liters of bulk oil at a price of Rp. 14,000 per liter or 15,500 per kilogram and Sanara packaged oil in stock of 9,000 liters at a price of Rp. 21,583 per liter.

"Some of the stock of cooking oil from the distributor has been sold, in four low-cost market activities, namely on March 22, 23, 24, 28," he said.

Meanwhile today, the cheap market activity took place in Monjok Village and the last one was scheduled to take place on March 30 at Pagutan Permai Field.

"The price is below the market price, ranging from IDR 14,000 to IDR 15,000 kilograms for weighing sugar and IDR 15,500-16,000 per kilogram for premium packaged sugar," he said.

In addition to sugar, the basic need that is also being targeted by the public during the low-cost market is syrup because the price is below the market price of Rp. 15,000 per bottle for the ABC brand.

"The normal price for syrup is Rp. 18,000 per bottle," he said.
