JAKARTA - The national telecommunications provider, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) officially acquired 51 percent of PT Hypernet Indodata's shares today, Tuesday, March 23.

XL Axiata Corporate Secretary Ranty Astari Rachman in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website said the company signed a conditional share purchase agreement with Bridgefiedls Prime Investment Pte. Ltd, Ameisys Global Technologies Pte. Ltd., PT Mitra Indo Asia, and PT Magna Karya Archipelago as shareholders of Hypernet Indodata.

"With the signing of the conditional share purchase agreement, the company will own 51 percent of Hypernet Indodata shares or 2,805 shares with a transaction value of around IDR 321.3 billion," said Ranty.

She continued, the acquisition of these shares aims to increase the range of products offered by the company to company customers. This corporate action will increase the range of products offered by the issuer coded EXCL to the company's enterprise customers.
