JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Arya Sinulingga spoke about the President Director (Director) of PT Pelita Air Service (PAS) Albert Burhan who was involved in the corruption case of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero). According to Arya, the determination is inseparable from the reporting of audit results submitted by the Ministry of SOEs to the Attorney General's Office.

For your information, Albert himself has been named a suspect by the Attorney General's Office. Albert became a suspect in his capacity as VP Vice President Treasury Management for Garuda Indonesia for the period 2005-2012.

"As for the Garuda case that we complained about, the results of our audit. We have told everyone too, that whoever is affected by the report, it is a consequence of the report we did, if it is affected, it is by the process," said Arya when met at the office. Ministry of SOEs, Central Jakarta, Monday, March 14.

Furthermore, Arya explained that the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises would entrust the decisions made by the Attorney General's Office. Because, the results of the investigation conducted by the prosecutor will be more complete.

"So we just trust the prosecutor's office, the results of the prosecutor's investigation are definitely more complete than ours. But at least, from the results of the audit we did, we complained," he said.

According to Arya, the Ministry of SOEs is also ready to open up to the problems faced by PT Garuda Indonesia. This means that if the investigation is carried out wide, his party will accept the consequences of the report.

"We are ready to open up. So instead of being arrested from a closed position, we will open ourselves up. Then give the data, please see the flow. If our finances are like this, if we are investigated legally, it can be different too. If the results of the legal investigation can be wide Wherever there are consequences," he said.

For your information, President Director of PT Pelita Air Service (PAS) Albert Burhan has been appointed by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) as a suspect in the corruption case in the procurement of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk aircraft, 2011-2012. After being named a suspect, Pelita Air temporarily disabled Albert from the position of President Director of PAS.

Instead, Pelita Air appointed the Director of Finance and General Affairs, Muhammad Shabran Fauzani as the Acting Director of PAS.

It is noted that Shabran Fauzani last served as Pertamina's VP of Financing and previously served as Finance and HR Director of PT Patra Jasa, which is one of Pertamina's subsidiaries.
