Wilmar, Producer Of Sania And Fortune Conglomerate Martua Sitorus Trusted To Fulfill Cooking Oil Supply In Pontianak

JAKARTA - The Department of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises and Trade (DKUMP) Pontianak City, West Kalimantan held a special market operation selling cheap cooking oil (migor) in overcoming the scarcity of migraine in the city.

"Today we have prepared six market operation points that specifically sell migrating, namely in Flamboyan Market, Kemuning, Central Market, Teratai and Puring Market, and specifically at Flamboyan Market, we have prepared 7.5 tons of migrants," said the Head of the Cooperatives Business Office. Pontianak City Micro and Trade (DKUMP), Junaidi, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 11.

He explained that the market operation was to overcome public panic related to migrants, when in fact the availability of migrants was available.

"Because we have coordinated with the West Kalimantan Provincial Government and migrant producers," he said.

According to him, his party conducts market operations by selling migrants at one price in order to make it easier for the community. However, people think that migraines will be difficult to find in the market, causing panic.

"In this migration market operation, each community gets five liters at a price of Rp. 11,500 per liter. This market operation is in collaboration with PT Wilmar, owned by the conglomerate Martua Sitorus to help the community and ensure that this migration is available," he said.

Junaidi added that the need for migraine in Pontianak City is based on data of around 550 thousand liters per month, assuming the population of Pontianak is around 600 thousand people, then one person needs 0.8 liters of migraine.

He added that the Pontianak City Government will continue to carry out routine supervision and operation of the migrant market.

"Through our regional inflation control team, we always check the distributor's warehouse, it is found that some oil distribution warehouses have not yet arrived," he said.
