"Mandalika has received a windfall due to the existence of MotoGP. Because there are so many fans or fans all over the world, this will raise the image and promotion of Indonesia in general and Mandalika in particular," he said in a virtual press conference, Tuesday, March 1.

As is known, the MotoGP international racing event will be held from 19 to 21 March 2022 at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). It is expected to be watched by 60 thousand people.

"We only have 18 days left for the implementation. Actually, we just need to clean up, if we are in a restaurant like now when we tidy up the table and set the dishes. We have done the cooking and shopping," he said.

Furthermore, Rikzi ensured readiness in all these sectors under the coordination of Field Commander Marshal (TNI) Hadi Tjahjanto.

"Every week we are tracing. So that we know what are the shortcomings that must be prepared," he explained.

Rizki also explained that the government continues to coordinate regarding the allowed audience capacity, which is 60 thousand spectators, from the previous 100 thousand. Because, although there has been a downward trend in COVID-19 cases in recent times, efforts to prevent transmission must still be made.

In addition, Kiki as she is familiarly called, said that the MotoGP event will not only have an impact on the development of tourism facilities in these destinations, but also other facilities that will have great benefits for the local community.
