Collaborating With South Korean E-Commerce, Bank Mandiri Offers Discounts For Purchase Of BTS Products

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk. It is said that they have collaborated with South Korean digital shopping platform, Istyle.id, to organize a discount program for every purchase of BTS (The Fact Music Awards) TMA 2021 Photobook Special Edition.

Bank Mandiri Vice President Micro and Consumer Josephus K. Triprakoso said that this step was a strategy to boost customer transactions using banking services provided by the company.

"This collaboration is quite strategic considering that our partner Istyle.id is one of the main players in the e-commerce platform in South Korea," he said in an official statement on Friday, February 25.

Josephus explained that customers can take advantage of this promotional program by transacting using Livin' by Mandiri with the yellow logo, Mandiri Debit, and Mandiri Credit Cards.

"We provide discounts of up to 30 percent for every purchase of BTS TMA 2021 Photobook Special Edition," he said.

Furthermore, Josephus said that customers can make transactions through a special website listed in the promo section of the Livin' by Mandiri application. Then, select payment via Mandiri Virtual Account.

"We have also prepared a 0% installment promo with a maximum tenor of 24 months for a minimum transaction of IDR 500,000," he said.

On the same occasion, iStyle.id Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Steven Calvin Victory said that the collaboration that was built was beneficial for both parties. The reason is, the BTS fan base in Indonesia is quite large and this makes transaction opportunities potential.

"The interest in Indonesia is very large, so we collaborate with strategic partners from various industries to ensure this can be achieved," he said.

This promo itself will last for one full month from March 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022 while taking into account the availability of quotas through Bank Mandiri's digital payment channels.
