JAKARTA - Inspectorate one of the Ministry of Trade reviewed the selling price of cooking oil traders in the market. The survey was conducted at the Klender Perumnas Market, East Jakarta, Friday (25/2). Officers found that the selling price of cooking oil was above the highest retail price or HET up to more than Rp. 13,000 per liter. This was because traders bought cooking oil from individual distributors on the grounds that the oil from market operations was sold out in three days. Meanwhile, traders complain that market operations are only carried out once a week.
