According to him, a joint team from the Gorontalo Regional Police, Commission II of the DPRD, and the Gorontalo Provincial Industry and Trade Service had carried out surprise inspections at a number of distributors.

Head of the Industry and Trade Office of Gorontalo Province, Risjon Sunge, said as much as 317,070 liters of cooking oil is planned to arrive in Gorontalo on February 27, 2022.

He revealed that Gorontalo Province received 948,000 liters of cooking oil from the central government.

According to the Circular of the Minister of Trade No. 6 of 2022, the Highest Retail Price (HET) is Rp. 14,000 for premium packaging, Rp. 13,500 for simple packaging, and Rp. 11,500 in bulk.

"Especially for Pohuwato, 10,008 liters will arrive on February 23 from Bitung, supplied by Bulog," said Risjon.
