Set Budget For Connectivity Infrastructure Of IDR 37.3 Trillion, Directorate General Of Highways PUPR Builds 374 Km Of New National Road And 20,188 Meters Of Bridge

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Highways has allocated IDR 37.3 trillion for connectivity infrastructure programs. This figure is equivalent to 93.94 percent of the budget allocation of the Directorate General of Highways in 2022.

Of that amount, Director General of Highways Hedy Rahadian said his party will build 374 km of new national roads and 20,188 meters of bridges.

"We will continue development in the field of connectivity, especially the completion of road and bridge infrastructure that has begun to be built and the use of infrastructure that has been built," Hedy said in his statement during a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V of the DPR, quoted Wednesday, February 15.

In detail, Hedy explained, the construction of a new national road that is targeted at 354 km is allocated a budget of Rp. 21.8 trillion. The fund also includes for the preservation/improvement of the quality of national roads.

Meanwhile, the budget for the construction of the 20,188 meter bridge is allocated a budget of Rp. 6.9 trillion.

In 2022, Hedy also revealed that he would complete the construction of a 1,072 m flyover and underpass with a budget allocation of around Rp. 200 billion, namely for the Kopo flyover in West Java and the Patih Galung flyover in South Sumatra (Sumsel).

"It is also allocated to support the construction of 9.2 km of toll roads in the amount of Rp. 4.6 trillion, namely the Serang – Panimbang and Semarang – Demak toll roads. Meanwhile, the Intensive Work program in 2022 is Rp. 4.5 trillion with a target of absorbing 55,695 workers in Indonesia. throughout Indonesia," said Hedy.

Hedy added that the financial realization of the Directorate General of Highways at the Ministry of PUPR in 2021 was IDR 63.63 trillion or 95.87% of the budget ceiling of IDR 66.37 trillion. "For its physical achievements in 2021, 721 km of new national roads have been built, 27,708 m of bridges, 2,321 m of flyovers/underpasses, and 123 km of toll roads," said Hedy.

The following is a list of plans for the construction of new national roads, bridges, as well as the preservation and replacement of bridges by the Directorate General of Highways in 2022:

New national road:

Geumpang – Pameue (Aceh), Pansela Java (Central Java, DIY, East Java), Planjan - Baron –Tepus (DIY), Siding/Sewide – Sekayang/Entikong (West Kalimantan), Long Pahangai – Long Boh & Long Bagun - Tering (East Kalimantan) , Rasau - Jasa - Bts. Negara (West Kalimantan), Manado Outer Ring Road III (North Sulawesi), Kendari Circle (Sultra), Mamberamo – Elelim and Holtekamp Bridge Access Road (Papua), Towe Hitam – Oksibil (Papua).

Bridge list:

Sei Wampu (North Sumatra); Way Rarem Bridge (Lampung); Ciloseh (West Java), Ratah River (East Kalimantan), Sambas Besar River (West Kalimantan), Anak Nyum Cs (Papua), Construction of Kretek Bridge 2 (DIY), Construction of Tiong Ohang - Long Pahangai Parallel Border Bridge (East Kalimantan), Construction of Bridges and Oprit Boulevard (North Sulawesi).

Bridge preservation and replacement:

Olor Gedang Bridge (NTB); Cr. Baro (Aceh); Tano Ponggol (North Sumatra); Muaro Sako (West Sumatra); S. Singgalan (Riau); Sei Tebat (Jambi); Cipamuruyan (West Java); Yetti – Senggi – Mamberamo (Papua) Section; Wamena City BTS - Pyramid - Tiom (Papua).
