JAKARTA - This is how people line up to buy cheap cooking oil at the Utan Kayu Selatan sub-district office, East Jakarta, Thursday (10/2). Residents were seen queuing up to get a two liter package of cheap cooking oil. Even residents are willing to queue for cheap cooking oil while bringing their children. Cheap cooking oil is sold at a price of RP28.000. Satpol PP officers were forced to arrange queues to maintain distance and prokes. This market operation is carried out by a company owned by the DKI Regional Government to help the people of Jakarta from the scarcity of cooking oil. Apart from cooking oil, which can only be purchased in one package per person, residents are free to buy whatever else. Watch the full video below.
