Vodka, Karaoke, And Women Bond Dennis Rodman And Kim Jong Un's Friendship

JAKARTA - Dennis Rodman's friendship with North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un is without a doubt one of the most unique in the world. Their relationship was built around vodka, karaoke and women.

The North Korean leader's passion for basketball is an open secret. However, few thought that this could be a bridge of friendship with one of the NBA's most controversial characters.

Rodman explained his relationship with Joung Un in a Mike Tyson podcast interview. He reveals how it all started after they finished the night's vodka singing karaoke.

Rodman said, "He asked, 'Do you like my country?' and I said 'yes, this country is cool', "launched Marca, Tuesday, May 12.

The dictator then told him, "We asked Michael Jordan to come, but he wouldn't come, so we asked you."

The two of them immediately became attached to their passion for basketball. And when it was time for Rodman to leave, the North Korean leader invited him back to his residence for a wild night party - Kim Jong Un style.

Jong Un said to Rodman: "Let's have dinner tonight, a little karaoke and drink vodka, some hot girls and such".

Rodman said: "The next thing I know, we had dinner and got drunk like an asshole, he started singing karaoke and I don't know what he was talking about.

"Everyone started clapping and then he invited a girl group of 18 and these girls are hot but they only play one song."

In the interview, Rodman also talked about the beginning of his arrival in North Korea.

"I thought I would sign some autographs and play basketball," Rodman said of his trip to North Korea.

"I didn't know anything about the country. I said I would go there as long as I was safe, but as soon as I got off the plane there was a red carpet - it was incredible," he recalls.

However, the red carpet was not for Rodman. And he was very surprised.

"There are more than 22 thousand North Koreans standing up and clapping their hands," added Rodman.

"Then someone said: 'no, that's for him, and pointed at Kim Jong Un.

"When I asked who the man was, they told me it was their leader."

About three weeks ago, when Jong Un's health condition deteriorated and rumors suggested that the life of the number one person in North Korea was threatened after his cardiovascular surgery failed, Rodman expressed concern.

"I hope it's just a rumor that Marshal Kim Jong-Un is sick," former NBA star Rodman told TMZ.

"There is still a lot of work to do between the United States and the Republic of Korea.

"If he feels unwell, I pray he gets well soon, so that my two friends [Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un] can continue to lead peaceful success."
