JAKARTA Lucas Moura immediately lifted the trophy after just four months after leaving Tottenham Hotspur and joining his childhood club Sao Paulo.

The 31-year-old left Spurs as a free transfer player last summer. He left after five and a half years of defending the London club.

While there, he did not fully taste the championship trophy. Moura only managed to help Spurs reach the European Champions League final. Moura is most remembered by supporters of The Lilywhites thanks to a hat trick against Ajax in the semifinals of the event.

After returning to Brazil he immediately helped Sao Paulo win the Brazilian Cup. This success he got after 11 years after leaving his childhood team.

Moura appeared as a starter against Flamengo in the final which took place in two legs. In those two matches he became a star for the team which was also reinforced by former Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez.

This is not Moura's first success with the Brazilian club. He previously also won the Copa Sudamadina while still defending Sao Paulo before moving to Europe.

"Heeeeeei Champion!!! One more promise from God who betrayed me in my life. Thank God!" Moura wrote in a post on social media after winning.

The title is the 20th title for Moura in her career. Unfortunately, while defending Tottenham Hotspur, not a single title was successfully appointed.

Moura is one of several Spurs players who chose to go for a title with other clubs. Another player who also left last summer was their star Harry Kane.

The England international left the club to seal a 100 million transfer to German giant Bayern Munich. Before that there was Kyle Walker who moved to Manchester City and achieved success there.
