Indra Sjafri Is Still Asah Finishing Ahead Of Departing For The 2023 Cambodian SEA Games

JAKARTA The coach of the Indonesian U-22 national team, Indra Sjafri, is still trying to improve the final settlement before appearing at the 2023 Cambodian SEA Games.

Indra Sjafri's troops are back in training at Field B Gelora Bung Karno on Monday, April 24, 2023 morning WIB. The team still has some shortcomings that continue to be honed.

"We are fixing the attack because of the results of our evaluation, finishing has a lot of problems in the final third of the field. So it was repaired and also physical conditions are maintained," said Indra.

In this exercise, two U-22 national team players who have careers abroad, namely Pratama Arhan and Marselino Ferdinand, have also joined. Marselino is currently strengthening KMSK club Deinze, while Arhan plays for Tokyo Verdy.

In addition to the two names, the Indonesian U-22 national team for the SEA Games is mostly inhabited by young players who have performed regularly at the club level, both in League 1 and League 2 competitions.

Indra said that his players' experience made it difficult for him to draw up the best strength of Garuda Muda.

"This is because they really play in regular clubs and in general there are some players who have joined the national team several times. Maybe only one or three players are really new," said Indra.

The U-22 Indonesian national team is scheduled to leave for Cambodia on Tuesday, April 25 tomorrow.

There they are scheduled to compete against the Philippines on April 29, then Myanmar on May 4, Timor Leste on May 7, and finish the group stage match against Cambodia on May 10.
