JAKARTA - PSSI Deputy General Chair, Zainudin Amali, revealed the development of the naturalization process for three Indonesian U-20 national team players. The three names are Justin Hubner, Ivan Jenner, and Rafael Struick.

The naturalization process for the three is a question after Indonesia canceled hosting the U-20 World Cup. There are concerns that the third process will not be continued.

So far, the process of the three of them becoming Indonesian citizens (WNI) has run smoothly and has even reached the State Secretariat (Setneg). However, there are concerns that the players change their minds and are reluctant to continue naturalization.

However, Zainudin gave soothing news. The former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) explained that two players were still determined to continue the process but another name was being confirmed. One name is Justin Hubner.

"It's been (the naturalization document) at the State Secretariat, at the Palace now. The discussion has been done, the plenary session has been done, which one will be passed again, we don't know yet. Not necessarily (loss) the three of them," said Zainudin Amali during a conversation with the media crew at the GBK Arena, Senayan on Tuesday, April 4.

"The confirmation (of the players themselves) is okay, the two, yes. One (Justin hubner) is being confirmed again. We have to communicate again," he added.

Regarding Justin Hubner, who had to go through reconfirmation, related to the situation which was considered to have a chance to choose two citizenships. The reason is, the 19-year-old footballer has just fulfilled the call to appear with the Dutch U-20 national team.

Hubner's name was included in the list of the young Dutch squad during a test against the U-20 France national team at the Marbella Football Center, last Saturday, March 25. This situation raises a question mark because at the same time, Hubner is also undergoing a naturalization process to join the Garuda squad.
