JAKARTA - Indonesian racer Mario Aji will use Moto3 Argentina as a place to catch points. He looks optimistic about the race to be held at the Termas de Rio Hondo Autodromo Circuit.

The 19-year-old racer is confident in his determination to catch points because he reflected on his appearance in the previous series. In Portugal, Mario Aji appeared trending after starting from 22nd and finishing in 18th position.

"We had a promising start to the season in Portugal last weekend and we almost scored points. It will always be challenging, but I can reduce the distance with the fastest riders," Mario Aji said in an official statement on Friday, March 31.

Even though they have set a target to get points in Moto3 Argentina, the racer from Magetan realizes that the race will not be smooth considering the characteristics of the track that is full of challenges on his own.

"I'm eyeing points, what is certain is that Argentina is not an easy track for me," Mario explained.

"But there are some connected corners and I like them, I am optimistic," he added.

The second series of Moto3 in Argentina will begin on Friday, March 31 with two training agendas. The Moto3 class P1 session itself is scheduled to start at 19.00 WIB, while P2 will start at 23.15 WIB.

The new Moto3 class racing session will take place on Sunday, April 2 at 21.00 WIB.
