Indonesia Gilas Burundi With A Score Of 3-1

JAKARTA The Indonesian national team managed to beat the guest of the Burundi national team in an international friendly match, FIFA Mtach Day, Saturday, March 25.

Playing at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, West Java, Garuda's troops defeated The Swallows with a landslide score of 3-1.

The three goals for Indonesia were scored in the first half. Meanwhile, the only entertainment goal for the opposing team was scored six minutes after halftime.

Shin Tae Yong's team only needed six minutes to break into the opponent's goal. Yakob Sayuri opened the scoring after maximizing Stefano Lilipaly's pass.

Eight minutes later, the Garuda squad immediately added a score. This time it was Dendy Sulistyawan's turn to beat goalkeeper Burundi Mutombora Fabien after chaos in front of goal.

One minute before halftime, Indonesia's advantage increased thanks to Rizky Ridho's goal which grabbed the ball in front of goal due to a mistake made by Fabien.

Burundi then took six minutes after halftime to cut the score to 1-3. They scored their only goal through Niyongabire Pacifique's shot.

At the end of the second half, Burundi was seen putting pressure on the Indonesian national team's goal. However, the tight defense that was held by Elkan Bagot cs. made the score unchanged.

Indonesia will next face Burundi on FIFA Matchday on Tuesday, March 28. The match will take place in the same place.

In the official match, of course, it will affect points in the FIFA ranking between the two countries. Burundi, who is ranked 42nd in the CAF zone or 141 FIFA, is better than Indonesia, which is ranked 151 FIFA. It is hoped that this victory can control Indonesia's ranking to a better place.
