Family: Syabda Perkasa Belawa Never Bolong Worship

JAKARTA The men's singles badminton player Syabda Perkasa Belawa is a figure who has never been absent from worship and is always humble. He also does not indiscriminately associate with anyone.

The athlete, a young national training center (Pelatnas) PBSI, died on Monday, March 20, 2023. He breathed his last on his way to the hospital after a car accident on the Pemalang toll road, Central Java.

"If he's at home, he's a good person. With other people, he doesn't care indiscriminately. He wants a small child, wants an adult, wants his grandmother, everything is always with his eyes," said Syabda Yoga close relative Tri Ismunandar when contacted.

Yoga said, Syabda is also known to have never been arrogant even though he is already a professional athlete. In addition, he is a person who is so obedient to worship.

"His worship never holes. Worship is very diligent. With his neighbors he is also very kind," said Yoga.

"He is a professional player and has been mobilized by artists in the village. But he is not arrogant. If someone asks for a photo he never refuses. The person is what he is," he continued.

At the time of the unfortunate incident, Syabda was on her way home with her family to her hometown with the aim of a pilgrimage to her late grandmother's grave. However, on the way the car he was traveling in hit a truck.

The accident left Syabda and her mother dead, while her father was critical and one of her siblings had a broken leg. It is planned that Syabda's body will be buried this evening.

Yoga said that losing Syabda was clearly a major blow to the family. Moreover, Syabda has become a mainstay of the family thanks to her achievements in the international arena.

"The family is very proud of Syabda. Because she has won three times. As a family, we are proud. But what can we do with it, it's called fate. No one knows," said Yoga.

"I didn't expect that he could actually enter the PBSI National Training Center, but being able to enter it is honest as a family, we are very proud. He is from the village, but he can enter an international event, clearly to be proud," he added.
