JAKARTA - The PSSI General Chairperson (Ketum) Erick Thohir and the Provincial Association (Asprov) from all over Indonesia were held again. Erick Thohir also said that in a statement with PSSI Asprov this time his party also received a lot of input regarding the improvement of Indonesian football. This input is considered good by the Ketum because it will be the basis for making the right solution.
"Not only Exco decided without looking down. We discussed the Asprov and a lot of input from Asprov which we are also part of the solution," said Erick Thohir.
"Don't talk about one problem and another which ultimately divides. You have to find a solution together and it must be concrete," he continued.
On the same occasion, Erick Thohir also described the long-term target for Indonesian football. He set the target that 2045 will be the golden age for the Red and White in the international football scene.
"If Indonesia has a 2045 dream of becoming a developed country, the world's top 4-5 ranking economy, we also have a 2045 dream of the golden age of Indonesian football. At least it is included in the top 50 world football countries. It is not easy," said Erick Thohir.
To be able to realize that golden year, Erick Thohir emphasized that the important thing that must be matured is the coaching of early childhood players. Because that way there will be a level of mental development and the ability to become a proper footballer.
"The Saudi Arabia is in (sequence) 51, Turkey is number 45, therefore one of them is that early childhood coaching must begin to be carried out,"
