Ahead Of El Clasico Barcelona Vs Real Madrid: Carlo Ancelotti Never Thinks Of Losing

JAKARTA - Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti emphasized that his team did not think of losing El Clasico against Barcelona, Monday, March 20 in the morning WIB. Los Blancos will continue to struggle to keep the hope of winning the La Liga title alive.

The defeat at Camp Nou will be a crushing blow to last season's champions. Giving Barcelona three points is the same as keeping them 12 points adrift with 12 weeks remaining.

Ancelotti has told his players to treat Barcelona "as a lion, not as a cat". However, he promised Madrid would attack.

Italian boss Ancelotti has won three of La Liga's seven meetings against Barcelona. While the rest ended with defeat.

He could be the fifth Real Madrid coach to win four or more El Clasico matches after Miguel Munoz (12), Francisco Bru (5), Luis Molowny (5) and Zinedine Zidane (4).

If he fails to make that happen in the match later, many predict that the title hunt will end effectively.

Ancelotti is not very sure about this, but he did not let the defeat enter his mind.

"I don't know, we didn't think about that. We were thinking of winning. If we didn't win, we would think about it," said Ancelotti.

"We have to see Barca as a lion, not as a cat. If we see them as cats, it looks like we will party. We will play against a great team, and this is an important game."

"In this match there is always fear, of course, but that's normal. Fear, nervousness. For me, two hours before kick-off is the worst," he continued.

For El Clasico, Ancelotti told his players to enjoy the moment as the protagonist. He said his team could win the fight defensively and attacking.

"Tomorrow we will play offensively. Attack, but without risk," said the former Chelsea and Juventus coach.

"We have a plan, both teams know each other very well. We have no secrets," he concluded.
