Madura United Team Doctor Panic When Helping Ricki Ariansyah, Difficulty Giving Oxygen Because Of Crowds Of People

JAKARTA - Madura United team doctor, Dr Marcello Araujo, told the chronology of giving the handling to Ricki Ariansyah who collapsed during the match against PSIS Semarang in Liga 1, Tuesday, March 7.

With the player's worrying condition, the doctor admitted that he had panicked. Moreover, the number of people gathered to make it difficult for the rescue process.

"We came to the place where we were, we saw that Rian had a confusion (disorder of consciousness). And together with Remidi immediately gave first aid," he explained about the incident in the field.

"I had coordinated with Remidi, who at that time was in a state of panic. Moreover, at that time we had a little difficulty giving oxygen to Rian, because if there were many people, it was difficult for Rian to get oxygen. Moreover, the stadium was closed next to him," he explained.

Even though he had gone through a tense situation, in the end, dr. Marcello Araujo was relieved. Because Ricki Ariansyah was saved and now his condition is in a better condition.

"Thank God he's still there (helped) at such a moment, we can help him as quickly as possible. So we give first aid so that his tongue doesn't hurt or be consumed," said dr. Marcelo.

In the match at the Jatidiri Stadium, Tuesday, March 7 afternoon WIB, a tense incident hit Ricki Ariansyah. He had collapsed in front of the PSIS goal shortly after scoring Laskar Sapeh Kerap's second goal.

This incident began when Ricki Ariansyah was making head, but at the same time one of the opposing players accidentally kicked at Ricki.

That moment made Ricki fall with his head first hitting the ground hard and immediately unconscious.

When medical treatment was carried out, Dr. Marcello Araujo was even caught on camera and cried seeing Ricki's condition.

"I was so emotional that I cried. When Rian collapsed, I talked to him. He responded to me and said 'doctor'. There I was so emotional. I kissed his head because he knew he was with me again, with us again," said Marcello.

Luckily, the player who is familiarly called Rian can be saved. The latest condition says Rian is conscious even though he still has to undergo treatment.
