The Results Of The First Day Of WSBK Mandalika: The Competition For Bautista, Rinaldi, And Toprak Has Been Seen

JAKARTA - Ducati racer Michael Rinaldi managed to record the fastest time on the first day of the 2023 World Superbike (WSBK) second series at the Mandalika Circuit, Friday, March 3. Meanwhile, Alvaro Bautista and Toprak Razgatlioglu stuck behind them..

In the first free practice session (FP1), Rinaldi recorded a slick moment at FP1. He also managed to excel by defeating Toprak and Bautista time records.

In FP1, Rinaldi recorded a time of 1 minute 34.613 seconds to overtake Toprak. The record is 0.056 seconds ahead of Toprak in second place.

While Bautista occupies the third position.

Rinaldi again managed to become the fastest in the second free practice session (FP2) after recording a time of 1 minute 32.468 seconds. He managed to lead 0.029 seconds over Bautista who was in second place.

While in third to fifth place is occupied by Toprak Razgatlioglu followed by Jonathan Rea and Michael van der Mark.

At the beginning of the FP2 Bautista had crashed at the first corner. However, the WSBK world champion was still able to rise and undergo fierce competition with Rinaldi.

This FP2 won by Michael Rinaldi is the final session of the series of the first day of WSBK Mandalika. On Saturday, March 4, the WSBK schedule at the Mandalika Circuit will be even more crowded.

On the second day there will be the last training session for WSBK, Superpole, to the first race sessions of WSSP and WSBK.
