The Indonesian National Team Squad In The U-20 Asian Cup Has Changed, Official Descendants Are Brought In

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong officially dropped Zanadin Fariz from the U-20 Indonesian national team squad at the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup. Instead, Brandon Scheunemann was immediately asked to come closer to Uzbekistan to join.

Brandon left for Uzbekistan, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, last night. Meanwhile, Zanadin will be withdrawn to Indonesia today, Thursday, March 2.

Although it will only fly to Uzbekistan on Wednesday night, Brandon's name is already on the U-20 squad list to face Iraq at Lokomotiv Stadium.

"Brandon Scheunemann tonight departs for Tashkent, Uzbekistan replaces Zanadin Fariz who will be discharged tomorrow due to injury," said PSSI media officer Bandung Saputra, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Shin Tae-yong's decision to write off Zanadin Fariz was not without reason. The Persis Solo player was forced to withdraw after being brought to Uzbekistan due to injury.

Bandung said Zanadin suffered a leg injury. However, it is not yet known in detail the injury suffered by the player.

However, Bandung confirmed that PSIS Semarang as the club that oversees Brandon, had given permission.

"The summons has also been sent to PSIS Semarang," he said.

The Garuda Nusantara squad is currently struggling in the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan from 1-8 March.

In the inaugural match, the U-20 Indonesian national team lost 0-2 to Iraq. Furthermore, Muhammad Ferrari and his friends will face Syria and Uzbekistan in the last match.
