List Of Teams That Escape The Round Of 16 Of The 2022/2023 Conference League

JAKARTA The 2022/2023 European Conference League playoffs have been completed. The following is a list of teams that have confirmed themselves to qualify for the last 16 of the third caste of the European club competition.

The eight second leg of the playoffs were completed on Friday, February 24 this morning. Two Italian teams, namely Lazio and Fiorentina, were among the teams that qualified to complete the round of 16.

Lazio locked in the last 16 ticket despite playing a goalless draw against Romanian representative CFR Cluj. The Elang escaped with a 1-0 aggregate advantage thanks to last week's win in the first leg at the Stadio Olimpico.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina made sure to qualify more convincingly. Vincenzo Italiano's men are ahead of the 7-2 big aggregate over Portuguese representatives Sporting Clube de Braga.

Fiorentina won convincingly 4-0 in an away match last week at the Municipal de Braga Stadium before a dramatic 3-2 win while playing at home at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

Eight tickets to the last 16 of this competition have previously been secured by the group stage first-placed team. Meanwhile, the second-ranked team from eight groups had to play play play off against eight third-placed teams in the European League.

Fiorentina had to play play off after finishing as runners-up in Group A. They collected 13 points, the same as those collected by goodminton Badakkan, but lost on goal difference.

Lazio previously played in the European League and finished third in Group F. They were behind Feyenoord in first place and Midtjylland in second.
