Liga 1: Siloyed By PSM, Persib's Unbeaten Record With Luis Milla Ended

JAKARTA The unbeaten record of Persib Bandung and their coach Luis Milla officially ended after losing 1-2 against PSM Makassar in the 2022/2023 Indonesian League 1 continued.

Maung Bandung's record expired when he met Juku Eja in the 24th week at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Tuesday, February 14, 2023. The team made up by the Spaniard before being left unbeaten in 15 consecutive matches.

In that match, Persib actually took the lead in extra minutes. Achmad Jufriyanto scored the lead after maximizing Rezaldi Hehanusa's corner in the 45+3 minute.

However, PSM only took nine minutes after halftime to equalize through a goal scored by Ramadhan Sananta. He successfully took advantage of the sweet bait sent by Yakob Sayuri.

Yance Sayuri then appeared to be the hero of victory twelve minutes later. He grabbed the ball and dribbled into the opponent's defense before being finished with a hard shot in his right foot.

This victory made PSM also move up to the top of the standings with a collection of 50 points from 24 matches. They are three points ahead of Persija who fill second place and still have one match savings.

Meanwhile, Persib is currently still staying in third place in the standings with a total of 46 points. Maung Bandung also still has one game savings that have not been played.

Apart from PSM, three points were also successfully brought home by Barito Putera who fought RANS Nusantara. Rahmad Darmawan's squad succeeded in holding their opponent back with a landslide score of 4-1 at the Demang Lehman Stadium.

Meanwhile, Bali United, who fought Persik Kediri, had to settle for just one point after ending the match, the score was the same as 1-1. This result makes Bali have to settle for staying in seventh position.
