Proliga 2023 Temporary Standings: Six Teams Already Ensuring Self-Escape To Final Four

JAKARTA - The national volleyball competition, Proliga 2023, has completed the second week of the second round on Sunday, February 12. There have been six teams that have made sure to qualify for the final four.

In detail, three teams from the men's sector and three more teams from the women's sector.

In the men's sector, the team that has confirmed its pass is Jakarta LavAni Allo Bank, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi, Jakarta STIN BIN.

LavAni is currently firmly at the top of the Proliga 2023 standings after the second week of the second round which will take place at GOR Ken Arok, Malang, East Java, 9-12 February 2023.

Overall, LavAni leads with a collection of 32 points, the result of 11 wins from 12 matches. Of these five wins were won in the second round.

LavAni is four points ahead of Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi who is in second place with 28 points, the result is 10 wins and one loss. In the second round, Bhayangkara was unbeaten for four matches.

Meanwhile, Jakarta STIN BIN overshadowed in third place with 27 points, thanks to nine wins from a total of 11 matches.

Surabaya BIN Samator and Jakarta BNI 46, each of which is in fourth place with 19 points and fifth with 17 points, have the opportunity to win one place with the condition that they achieve maximum results in the third week of round II at GOR UNY Yogyakarta on February 16-19.

In the women's sector, Jakarta Pertamina Fastron became the most dominant team and was at the top of the standings to collect 21 points, thanks to seven wins from eight matches.

Megawati Hagestri and her friends are three points ahead of defending champion Bandung bjb Tandamata in second place with 18 points, the result of six matches and three defeats.

Jakarta BIN is below it with 16 points, the result is five wins and four defeats. The three top teams are confirmed to appear in final four.

Meanwhile, Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia is contested for one remaining place, which is in fourth place with 10 points and Jakarta Popsivo Polwan in fifth place with four points.

Jakarta Electric PLN, which is at the bottom of the standings with six points (one win and seven defeats) also still has a chance to qualify for final four on condition that they win the remaining two matches in the third week of the second round in Yogyakarta.

However, this is predicted to be difficult to realize because it is also determined by the results of Gresik Petrokimia and Popsivo Polwan who are both determined to qualify for the last four.

As is known, the final four will be held on February 23 - March 12 which will be held in three locations, namely, GOR Tri Dharma Gresik, GOR Jatidiri Semarang, and GOR Sritex Arena Solo.
