Real Madridis More Solid To Rise

JAKARTA - Real Madrid finally got up after swallowing negative results in their last match in La Liga Spain. Los Blancis finally returned to winning ways after beating Valencia 2-0 in 17th at the Santiago Bernabeu, Friday, February 3 in the morning WIB.

The hosts appeared dominant, not even letting their opponents record a single 90-minute on target.

But Madrid had to wait until the second half to get their first goal. Marco Asensio broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute with a shot from outside the box.

Two minutes later, Vinicius Junior doubled the hosts' lead.

Valencia had no chance of losing Gabriel Paulista due to a red card. Until the game ended, no more goals were created.

"In the second half it was easier to gain energy in the game. Vinicius suffered in the first half, but in the second half, his physical condition made changes," said Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, after the match.

Ancelotti assessed that his team's game is now much better.

"The increase came because this team was more solid, had a little bit of trouble and worked harder in the back. That is the key to our development," he continued.

This result made Madrid cut their distance to five points from Barcelona at the top of the standings. Los Blancos are currently collecting 45 points, meanwhile Valencia is stuck in 15th place with 20 points.

"We have one more point than last year at this stage and we scored more goals," said Ancelotti.
