JAKARTA - Indonesia is included in Group C at the 2023 Asian Badminton Team Championship (BAMTC). The Red and White Squad will compete with Thailand and three other countries.

Based on the draw, Indonesia joined Thailand, Bahrain, Syria, and Lebanon. Thailand is clearly the toughest opponent.

Group C itself will be the busiest group because it contains five participants. So each team will have four matches.

To give maximum performances at the 2023 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship, Indonesia fielded a number of the best players in various numbers.

Anthony Ginting, Gregoria Mariska, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva, and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari are the names included in the Indonesian squad list.

In the last edition which took place in 2019, China successfully won after beating Japan with a score of 3-2. Meanwhile, Indonesia had to settle for being stuck in the semifinals when it fell 0-3 from Japan.

This year's agenda itself will take place on February 14-19 in Dubai. This is a continuation of the 2019 edition because in the 2021 edition this agenda was forced not to be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
