Elkan Baggott's Ability Is Still Unable To Win Ipswich Town

JAKARTA - Elkan Baggott still has not been able to convince his home club Ipswich Town to get a position. After undergoing a loan period from Gillingham FC, Elkan returned to undergo a loan period with other clubs.

This time it was Cheltenham Town's turn to become the club where Elkan Baggott gained experience. He officially joined the club which is rival Ipswich Town in League One on Thursday, January 19

Previously, Gillingham FC also had time to say goodbye to the Indonesian-English player. The club management is grateful for his contribution while in Gillingham.

"@elkanbaggott has been recalled to his home club Ipswich Town and will soon join Cheltenham Town on loan," Gillingham said in a statement.

"We thank Elkan for his contribution and we wish him all the best in the future," the statement continued. Baggott was loaned to Gillingham FC starting July 2022. He got quite a lot of playing duration at the club playing in League Two or the Premier League third division competition.

During his time with Gillingham, Baggott has made a total of 29 appearances in all competitions together. This is Baggott's most playing minute while playing in English clubs.

Not only did he get more playing duration, but Baggott was able to score three goals with Gillingham. He also continues to show an increasingly mature appearance even though he has not yet got a place at his home club.

Now that he has officially become a part of Cheltenham Town, Elkan Baggott has received a warm welcome. Through the team's Instagram account, the 20-year-old player has officially become a part of Cheltenham Town.

With Cheltenham Town, Elkan will increase the flight hours with a loan period of Ipswich until May 31, 2023.
