The Fate Of The Naturalization Of Shayne Pattinama Who Is Not Also Villaged

JAKARTA - PSSI's Technical Director (Dirtek), Indra Sjafri explained the reason why Shayne Pattinama's naturalization process has not yet been completed. Even though he just has to live the oath of Indonesian Citizen (WNI) following the Presidential Decree (Keppres) which has been issued.

As is known, Shayne Pattinama is included in the list of four potential naturalized players for the Indonesian national team. He joined the Hubner, Ivar Jenner, and Rafael Struick who were plotted to strengthen the U-20 national team.

For the naturalization process, Shayne himself has entered the final stage. The 24-year-old is just undergoing an oath at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to become an Indonesian citizen.

However, this step is still uncertain when it will be taken. Indra Sjafri explained that currently PSSI is still waiting for the right time for Shayne to come to Indonesia.

Because Shayne is still playing at the Norwegian club,ANGle FK which is also still active in the competition. Even on Thursday, January 19th, the▁sukuly FK will also undergo a match.

PSSI is only in a position waiting for confirmation from Shayne to return to Indonesia.

"Waiting for Shayne (Pattynama)'s time to get here. I'll try to ask later," said Indra Sjafri to the media crew, including VOI.

On the other hand, the naturalization of three players also went smoothly and there were no more additional names. However, there were concerns that the process would be disrupted considering that PSSI is currently in the process of changing the General Chair.

However, Indra Sjafri ensured that the naturalization process would not have a problem even though the position of Chairman of PSSI would later change. The reason is, the naturalization process has been carried out and is just waiting for further steps from the government.

"It has been processed and will not be disturbed. There are no additional names so far, only those three are for naturalization of the Indonesian U-20 national team," he said.
